Role and Responsibilities
- Proven to know and understand and independently perform tasks and skills
- Uses the correct safety equipment, supplies, procedures to perform job duties as required
- Reports safety hazards and equipment in need of repair
- Responds to immediate safety or operations concerns
- Assists in preparation of all surfaces and material usages
- Assists in in painting of all surfaces, correct coating methods, brush/roller painting in water base and oil base materials
- Operates, cleans, and maintains all painting equipment
- Stores and labels all materials safely
- Reads paint cans
- Sprays with black tips
- Primes and 1st coats independently
- Applies finish coat with assistance and independently
- Prepares surfaces, mixes, and matches paint
- Prepares surfaces, stains, and seals
- Reports daily scorecard measurable to Superintendent
- Attends meetings scheduled by Koehn Painting Co. Operations Department
Requirements and Skills
- Valid Driver’s License
- Must be able to pass National background checks
- US Citizen
- At least 2 years experience in Construction Painting Industry
